Rain limited Scott County to just two games last week, but that didn’t stop catcher Matt Malesick from putting on an offensive show.

In leading the Cardinals to two wins, the unsigned senior went 6-for-7, clubbing a double and three home runs in the process. Malesick was a run-producing machine, driving in eight runs in the two games to lead the Scott County potent offensive attack.

For his performance on the field last week, Matt Malesick has been selected as the PBR Kentucky Player of the Week for April 6-11.
