Kentucky Team of the Week: Central Hardin Bruins

Sometimes with a young team it takes some time before things start to go the way you would like them to go.  For Central Hardin, that appears to be just the case.

The Bruins lost 5 of their first 9 games to begin the season, but those growing pains began to pay dividends last week.

Central Hardin put together a 4-0 week that began with a 12-5 win over Elizabethtown and a 4-1 victory over John Hardin, and those two wins, combined with what the Bruins did on Saturday, made for an impressive week.

On Saturday, the Bruins traveled to Nelson County and proceeded to knock off the host team by a 16-3 score and followed that up with a 7-4 win over Mercer County, who for the moment is ranked No. 1 in our Power 25 rankings.

For their performance on the field last week, the Central Hardin Bruins have been named The Prep Baseball Report Kentucky Team of the Week for April 7-12.
