Welcome to Looking Ahead, our look at key matchups that will occur in the coming week from around the Commonwealth. Without further ado, here are games that we find to be especially interesting in the coming week:

LOOKING AHEAD: MAY 14-19

Riverheads vs. Page County, Monday May 14
This game pits the No. 8 and No. 9 teams in the Small School 10 against each other in a late-season rematch. There will be a lot of young talent on the field with sophomores Grant Painter (James Madison) and Braeson Fulton (James Madison) forming the core of Riverheads' lineup. Page County freshman lefty TR Williams was the winning pitcher in the first meeting, but threw on Friday so is likely unavailable. Look for Tristan Eppard to pitch for the Panthers and hit in the middle of their stacked lineup.
