MN Preseason Underclass: Event Preview

Rob Allison
Prep Baseball Report Minnesota

On Saturday, March 17, Prep Baseball Report will return to the Vadnais Heights Sports Center and hold one of it's longest standing Minnesota events, the MN Preseason Underclass event. Perennially, this event gives us an additional opportunity to take a closer view at a number of Minnesota's top underclass talents we have seen prior and introduces us to newer prospects in the state we’ve not yet evaluated.

For example, at last year's event we got an even better look at SS/RHP Mac Horvath (Rochester Century, 2020) and RHP/OF Max Carlson (Burnsville, 2020), both of whom went on to represent Team MN-IA-NE at the 2017 PBR Future Games and ultimately both made commitments to North Carolina. Max Carlson, RHP/OF, Burnsville, 2020

Mac Horvath, SS/RHP, Rochester Century, 2020

This is year should be no different. The PBR MN Preseason Underclass showcase historically brings out the most talented prospects in the state. Here’s this year’s roster: CLICK HERE. To visit this year's event page for the days schedule and further details CLICK HERE

This event has always yielded some of the top freshman and sophomore talent in the state as well, and with PBR Future Game invites on the horizon, our staff is always on the lookout and excited to see all the players on Saturday.

With too many players to list- keep an eye on 2020 Ian Bahn (Mounds View), 2017 PBR Future Games participant 2020 Cody Kelly (St. Michael-Albertville), 2020 Konnor Kirchoffner (Burnsville), 2021 stand-out Sam Hunt (St. Louis Park) and many more........so many more!
