This Saturday, March 10th, Prep Baseball Report will return to Starters Sports Training in Shakopee, MN and hold it's MN Winter Open event. Perennially, this event gives us an additional opportunity to take a closer view at prospects we have seen prior and introduces us to some off-the-radar prospects in the state we’ve not yet been made aware of.

Specifically among this year's group, our staff is eagerly anticipating seeing a hand-full of uncommitted 2018 prospects who are currently ranked in the Top 50 in the state: 2018's 3B Carter Theis (Edina), LHP/1B Sam Hanson (St. Cloud Cathedral) and OF Jack Sievers (Shakopee). Other ranked players who will be in attendance are C Ethan and OF Soren Roe (The Blake School), SS/RHP Daniel Claussen (Totino Grace), and RHP Chris Chiriboga (Hopkins) who recently has seen a velocity increase on the mound.

This event has always identified some of the top underclass talent in the state as well, and with PBR Future Game invites on the horizon, our staff is always on the lookout. There will be a solid contingent of underclass players at the event. Prep Baseball Report is looking forward to the event this Saturday.
