MO Underclassman Leaderboard

PBR covered the very talented MO Underclassman Showcase on June 8th at Atkins Field in Columbia Missouri. The event featured players from the 2023 and 2024 graduating classes. The players listed below are only the players from the event that chose to upgrade to a PBR profile. See all of the numbers from the event, here.

The event featured multiple fast twitch athletes as there were eight sub 7.0 60s, with 2023 Jonathan Ludwig leading all players with a blazing 6.69.  2023 Jack Lally earned  the second fastest 60 of the day at 6.75.

During BP there were numerous eye popping exit velocities recorded on TrackMan including 18 exit velos at 85+, 18 at 90+, and two over 100. 2023 grads Caden Bogenpohl and Cannon Stuckey both impressed with 101 mph exit velos. Just behind was 2023 grad Tripp Johns, who still had an impressive exit velo of 99 mph.  

Defensively, there were some big arms from the infield and outfield. 2024 Christian Bobzin impressed as he led all infielders at 86 mph, and in the outfield, it was 2023 Kaden Peer leading the way at 87 mph. Caden Bogenpohl continued to have a big day as he threw 82 mph across the diamond, ranking third best at the event.

Behind the dish, Cannon Stuckey continued to display his athleticism as his 82 from the crouch and pop times as low as 1.89 led the event. 2023 Cole Lemons was close behind as he threw 78 to second base and had pop times as low as 1.87. Four catchers posted sub 2.0 pop times. 

On the mound, 2023 Wil Libbert was electric at 86-90 and showed command of secondary pitches. 2023 Seth Benes was up to 88, while Christian Bobzin and Cannon Stuckey continued their impressive days touching 87. In total, there were five arms that were 85 plus.
