Some things to note
Harlan County won their second game of the season with an impressive 8-3 victory over a solid Hazard club.

Nelson County knocked off 2012 state semi-finalist Meade County 7-2.

Logan County shut out Hopkinsville 3-0 behind a 2 RBI night from Murray State recruit Dustin Cartas and an RBI from sophomore Caleb Bruner
.
Male opened the season with an impressive 13-0 win over Franklin County.  Senior Brandon Crabtree picked up the win with 6 K's.  Junior infielder Spencer Jackson had a perfect night at the plate going 3-3, while senior catcher Chris Allen went 3-4 with a double.
