Maryland JUCO Conference Rundown: Week 3

13 of the 14 Maryland JUCO Conference schools saw action in Week 3 with Prince George's CC being the lone remaining team yet to open up their 2019 due to weather related cancelations.
In Week 3,
+ Anne Arundel faced some stiff competition and wrapped up their 5-game trip to Myrtle Beach with a 1-4 record.
+ CCBC Dundalk opened up the season at home with a 11-6 loss to Camden County CC (NJ).
+ CCBC Essex went winless (0-4) in their 4-game set at USC Lancaster (SC).
+ Chesapeake played some wild games in the hitter-friendly confines of Crosley Field and finished their first of two trips down to Myrtle Beach with a 4-2 record.
+ Frederick started the season 2-0 before falling in the second game of the double-header on Sunday to Lansing CC (MI). The Cougars will wrap up their Florida swing with one more game on Monday against Lincoln Land (IL).
+ Garrett split their 4 games in Myrtle Beach bouncing back on Sunday to defeat Penn St. - Dubois in both games of the twin-bill.
+ Hagerstown started out their 13 game trip to Vero Beach, Florida with a 3-2 record. They will play 8 more games this week before retuning home on Sunday.
+ Harford swept Lackawanna (PA) at home in a double-header on Saturday.
+ Montgomery opened their season with two wins early in the week at Shenandoah University.
+ Southern Maryland dropped two close ballgames to Paul D. Camp CC (VA) to open their 2019 season.
