Every week, PBR Massachusetts holds an interactive chat through Twitter with our followers. Our goal is to be accessible. This is your chance to take advantage of our expertise. Ask questions to Dennis Healy, Massachusetts Scouting Director, about the recruiting process, upcoming high school season, specific prospects, PBR events, or anything else that may be on your mind.

We would like to thank all who participated, we enjoy bringing you knowledge and expertise on players and programs in your area.

Next week, we will be answering questions on either Tuesday or Wednesday, stay tuned.

Five of the top questions from the Ask.FM Q&A session on January 30th

What are your thoughts on the Area Code Games?

PBR: Area Code Games is one of the best events, in my opinion, for the younger kids in the summer. It is the best of the best in Long Beach, California for five days.

Is it unusual for a 2016 to be receiving questionnaires from MLB teams?

PBR: If you are a 2016 and you are getting questionnaires at this point you are probably a front line prospect.

How do college coaches find successful players to start to scout?

PBR: Coaches find out about players in a wide variety of ways, they get emails, they get phone calls, they receive videos, and of course they see players in tourneys. Recommendations from HS Coaches come in everyday.

When should a 2016 commit?

PBR: A 2016 should commit in this coming summer or fall. But don't be discouraged if you do not commit by that time as it is not required to commit by that time. There are Division I players out there that have committed later than the fall.

If you could play at any college in the country which one would it be?

PBR: I would choose Stanford, great place to play and a great degree. But there are numerous upon numerous great colleges across the US.
