Michael Clark joins PBR Kentucky Staff

We are excited to announce that Michael Clark is joining the Prep ClarkBaseball Report Kentucky Staff as Regional Scouting Director. 

Clark joins the PBR Kentucky Staff with a wealth of baseball knowledge and an impressive resume.  In addition to his new position with Prep Baseball Report, Clark is currently the owner of the Phenom Baseball Academy in Louisville, assistant varsity baseball coach at Male High School, and an Associate Scout for the San Diego Padres.

Clark had a stellar playing career which included All State, All Region, and All District honors at Trinity High School in Louisville. 

He went on to play at Volunteer State Junior College where he earned All Conference, All Region, and All American honors and was a member of the 1995 Volunteer State team that advanced to the Junior College World Series. 

After two years at Volunteer State, Clark went on to play at Division II Lincoln Memorial University, where he once again earned All Conference, All Region, and All American honors.  After two seasons at Lincoln Memorial, he played professionally for the Clarksville Coyotes.

Prior to his current coaching position at Male High School, Clark spent 7 seasons as an assistant at Trinity High School, 2 years coaching American Legion baseball, and worked as a minor league hitting instructor.

Since opening the Phenom Baseball Academy in 2009, Clark has worked with and trained more than 1100 players.  He has played a vital role in the development and recruitment of several players who have trained at the Phenom Academy.
