SCOUTING REPORT

Top Prospect Games 6/19/18

Delane is 6-4 with a lankier frame and plenty of projection left to it. Throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a short arm action that is fast and loose, throws with some effort. Closed off shoulders and slightly closed landing create some deception in his delivery, hiding ball. Fastball was 86-88 with good downward angle and a bit of late boring action to armside. Curveball was 79-80 with good armspeed and late hard 11/5 break. Change-up was 82-83 with good armspeed and a bit of late sink to it.

Preseason All-State 2/17/18

Delane is 6-4 with a lankier athletic frame and a lot of projection left. Throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a shorter loose arm action that is quick, throws with some effort. Shoulders uphill and closed, lands on line with a fall off finish. Fastball was 85-87 with good downward plane and a bit of late run to it. Curveball was 71-72 with later sharp 10/4 break and some armspeed. Change-up 76-80 with good armspeed and some run to it.
