In the hottest day of the year so far, players from all parts of Missouri beat the heat and showcased their skills at the Atkins Baseball Complex in Columbia.

Some event highlights include:

-3B Ben Lazenby from Parkway Central showing all around ability with a 6.90 60, top infield arm at 85-mph, and good power at the plate.

-RHP Cody Stegmann from Blair Oaks with the top arm on the mound, topping at 85-mph.

-Charlie Kreh, a big left handed hitter from Marquette HS with the top exit velocity at 84-mph off the bat.
