  • Defeated Lenoir CC 17-10 in a midweek contest. Cody Willis went 3-3 with 4 RBI’s in the win.
  • Took 3 of 4 from USC Union on the weekend. W 5-2, W 11-4, L 5-4, W 11-8
  • Tucker Rogers got the win in game one pitching 6 innings and allowing 1 ER
  • Darius Nobles had a big day in the Saturday games collecting 4 hits with 5 RBI’s and 2 homeruns

 

DII JUCOs

Brunswick CC

  • Ranked No. 11 in the last week's PBR JUCO Rankings
  • Split a midweek doubleheader with USC Salkehatchie, W 6-5, L 7-6
  • Chase Sykes went 2-4 with a double and RBI in the game one win vs. USC Salkehatchie
  • Swept a weekend series vs. Fayetteville Tech CC, W 13-3, W 12-4, W 9-1
  • Easton Jones, Hunter Ashburn, Trevor Heasley, and Tristian Marsh all homered over the weekend for Brunswick

Catawba Valley CC

  • Dropped a Tuesday doubleheader to Walters State CC, L 4-0, L 6-4
  • Split a Wednesday doubleheader with Montreat JV, W 9-2, L 4-1
  • Took 2 of 3 from Patrick Henry CC on the weekend.  W 15-1, W 2-0, L 5-4
  • Blake Dockery got the win in game one tossing 5 innings and striking out 10
  • Logan Bender got the win in game two with a 7-inning complete game, walking 1 and striking out 12

Wake Tech CC

  • Took 2 of 3 from Lenoir CC on the weekend. L 14-8, W 10-0, W 14-3
  • Jake Murray got the mound win in game 2 tossing 5 innings, allowing 1 hit with 5 strikeouts
  • Kyle Jackson, Evan Balzano, Connor Ledet, and Austin Bulman all homered on the weekend for Wake Tech

Pitt CC

  • Defeated NC Wesleyan JV 13-1 in a midweek contest. Joey Goldsmith went 2-3 with 2 RBI’s in the win
  • Dropped 2 of 3 to Southeastern CC on the weekend. L 8-7, L 13-8, W 16-1
  • Nolan Bolt earned mound wins against NC Wesleyan JV and game 3 vs. Southeastern CC, tossing 8 innings on the week allowing 2 walks and striking out 11

Guilford Tech CC

  • Lost a midweek game to Florence Darlington Tech CC 14-5
  • Took 2 of 3 from Paul D. Camp CC on the weekend. W 11-4, L 11-0, W 8-4
  • Ryan Warren homered twice in the game one win vs. Paul D. Camp CC
  • Cort Maynard had 6 hits on the weekend and Josh Benfield homered twice

Lenoir CC

  • Dropped a midweek game to Louisburg 17-10.
  • Lost 2 of 3 to Wake Tech CC on the weekend.  W 14-8, L 10-0, L 14-3
  • Jared Spinner and Andrew Sheppard homered in the game one win vs. Wake Tech
  • Cameron Butler had 9 hits on the week with 3 doubles and 5 RBI’s

Southeastern CC

  • Dropped a midweek doubleheader to Spartanburg Methodist losing 12-4 and 4-3
  • Took 2 of 3 from Pitt CC.  W 8-7, W 13-8, L 16-1
  • Greg Hammonds homered twice in the game one win
  • Riley Cameron had 5 hits on the weekend with a homerun and 3 RBI’s

Rockingham CC

  • Swept a weekend series against New River CC.  W 12-0, W 13-3, W 12-0
  • Blake Cleverley went 2-2 with 4 RBI’s in the game one win
  • Timmy Smith had 4 hits on the weekend with 2 doubles and 9 RBI’s

Surry CC

  • Swept a midweek doubleheader vs. Montreat JV 4-3 and 13-12
  • Michael Roberts and Bradley Fleenor homered against Montreat JV
  • Swept a weekend series vs. Thomas Nelson CC. W 8-1, W 8-3, W 3-1, W 6-3
  • Chase Gray and Drew Martin had big weekends at the plate against Thomas Nelson CC
