THe Buzz
Juri is a very exciting player to watch. The 5-10, 190 pound third baseman/outfielder from Emerson High School plays the game with a ton of energy. He is a right-handed hitter who has a ton of potential with the stick. He's consistently the first on and off the field and has great leadership ability. His skill set and energy level make him an intriguing college prospect. He will be putting his talents on display at our July 15th Top Prospect Games.

SCOUTING REPORT
Juri has broad shoulders and a solid athletic frame. He has a medium build with room to get even stronger. He is a solid third baseman with good lateral range and above average arm strength. Being that he is an above average runner (6.8-6.9), his longer arm action may be more conducive to playing an outfield position.
He starts with an open stance and uses a leg kick. He has above average bat speed and strength in his swing. Having a tendency to land hard on his front side restricts him from using all fields as well as he could but the potential to be a gap-to-gap hitter in college is there. Changing to a more "all fields" mindset will allow him to land softer and trust his hand speed more. That being said, his ability and athleticism should make him a solid division one recruit.
