Naturals Scout Day: Stat Story

Prep Baseball Report joined up with The Naturals for a 63-player scout day featuring players from the 2022 to the 2027 class from the Greater St. Louis area. Today we take a look at some of the top performers from the event. Full event stats and details can be found by clicking here.
The top fastball velocities from the event belonged to Sam Wyrick from the 2024 class and Logan Slinkard from the 2023 class at 87 mph. 2025 Connor Day showed the top 2025 FB velo at 84 mph. Mitchell Schleeper was second in the pack for the 2023's at 83 mph and Aiden Zehnle from the 26 class and Tristan Loehr from the 2025's both topped out at 78 mph.
The top home to first time from the event belonged to Luke Bennett at a blazing 3.86 from the 2025 class. Right behind him were Ray Dattoli 4.03 and Logan Baumann at a 4.04 as well as Carson Cosby coming in at 4.05 seconds. Sam Wyrick led the way in the 2024 class at 4.08 and Carson Hawkins posted the top time for the 2023's at 4.15.
Josh Dluhy showed off his strength at contact from the 2022 class at 92 mph. Wyrick again led the way in the 2024's at 88 mph. Jack Schlechte had the top exit velo from the 2025 class at 88 mph and Brody Landgraf showed some real power potential in the 2026 class at 89 mph.
The top infield velocities were put up by a duo of 2023 grad Logan Slinkard and 2022 grad Josh Dluhy at 81 mph. Michael Politte topped the charts for the 2024's at 79 mph with William Keithley from the 2025 class also hitting 79 mph. The top outfield arm belonged to Andrew Hazelton from the 2024 class at 83 mph. Ray Dattoli showed some potential arm strength in the 2025 class at 81 mph.
The top pop time range from the event was posted by 2025 grad Connor Day at 1.96-2.05 as well as showing big time arm strength with a 78 mph reading from behind the crouch. Liam Greil posted a respectable 2.04-2.07 pop time range from the 2022 class at 73 mph as well as Will Becker hitting 73 mph from the 2023 class.
