Repeats well, some funk in the front side, athletic finish. Arm is short on the backside and long out front. Struck out all six he faced during the PBR Border Battle in August.

PBR: Why did you choose Iowa Western CC?
I committed to Iowa Western because they have a great tradition of sending student-athletes onto high caliber schools after they have developed through their program. I was extremely impressed with the new indoor facility and locker-room and that was a huge draw for me.
PBR: What other schools were you considering?
I was also considering a few D1 schools in the region like NDSU and UNO, but I was contacted by the University of Arkansas at Little Rock pitching coach.
PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with them?
I don't know exactly when the coaching staff first saw me but I was contacted on the Fourth of July by Coach Herbst and we had a great conversation. Coach Herbst and I kept in contact throughout the summer and when school started I took my visit. The staff made it clear they would take care of me and set me on a path for success and I really like that.
PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?
The tradition was it. I love that they look at winnings as a by product of the end goal of getting to where I want to go.
PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?
My dad has helped me so much with pitching but he has told me since day one that baseball is 1% physical and 99% mental and that has helped me since I started playing when I was five.
PBR: Your Legion team won the 2018 state championship and made it to regionals, what was that experience like?
It was great to be able to represent Nebraska in the fashion we did. I am very proud of the distance that we came and the individual roles a lot of our players embraced to get where we got. I love that I hold the first ever regional win by a Burke pitcher in the history of our program.
PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?
The coaching staff stressed that I needed to put on about 20 pounds of muscle my freshman year and I'm all for it. I also know that I will be working to develop a sharper breaking ball, slider and add 8-10 mph to my fastball.
PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?
Having my grandmother watch me pitch against Millard South in Columbus will stay with me for the rest of my life. She passed away four days after that game and I know that she will be cheering me on in whatever I do in life from up above.
PBR: Who is the best player you have competed against?
I have been put against a lot of good ball players so its hard to say but i know the best will come in the future.
