It was over when: Simmons help Ossining HS scoreless over 5 2/3 innings allowing
one hit. Tyler Cinelli went 3-3 at the dish, with three RBI’s in the rout.

WP: Nick Whalen
New Harford almost watched their strong start to the season get ruined by Camden HS Wednesday
night in section 3 action.
It was over when: New Harford was able to manufacture a run in the Top of the 9th inning. Five New Hartford players had RBI’s, Mark Chanatry (NH) went off at the plate going 4-5 with an RBI.

Bogacz
Poly Prep with their second loss in three days will fall out of the Top 10 in NY.
It was over when:
Bogacz (Trinity) fired five scoreless innings to keep the No. 9 ranked NY team
off balance. Riley (Trinity) had an RBI single in the fourth inning.

Orchard Park HS blast West Seneca West HS in section 5 action Wednesday night.
It was over when: MLB Draft hopeful Dave Hollins (Orchard Park) went 2-4 with an RBI.
Orchard Park scored six runs in the first three innings to set the pace for a rout.

Olean HS is off to a hot start in 2014 winning every game they have played so far.
It was over when: Olean scored three runs in the first two innings, and Bowser (Olean)
kept Bradford guessing through his four innings of work.

New Rochelle battled hard Wednesday night but outlasted White Plains 6-5.
It was over when: Miceli who threw a complete game, also hit a two run dinger to tie
the game in the fifth inning.

Kings Park HS rolls over Deer Park HS in HS baseball action on Long Island Wednesday night.
It was over when: Matt Cudahy (Kings) and Zach Garick (Kings) went a combined 5-6 with three
RBI’s. Votypka (Kings) worked six strong innings giving up three hits and striking out three.

Risers

Corning

WP: Nate Grant
Corning HS battles Vestal HS for the win 5-3 in section 4 action Wednesday night.
It was over when: St. Bonaventure bound Nate Grant threw a complete game six hitter striking out 13.
Nick Westgate went off at the dish going 2-4 with two RBI’s for Corning. Corning has two big games coming up in section 4 and with wins could find their way in the top 25.

Tottenville (11-1) 12     Curtis 0
WP: John Donohue
Tottenville is on serious push to find themselves in the best of the best Top 25. Monday night they beat then ranked No. 9 Poly Prep, and Wednesday night they handled Curtis with ease 12-0
It was over when: Tottenville heard they weren’t a top 25 team and went off. James Wise (Totten)
had two hits, white Nick Sanacore (Totten) exploded going 2-2 with a double and triple. Donohue (Totten) gave up two hits while strking out 10 in his day of work on the mound.
