At Mid Valley, Nick Demian (2013) fired a complete-game, two-hitter with 13 strikeouts to lead the Spartans. Ed Abda had two hits, including a triple, and three RBIs for the winners. Demian walked one batter in the ballgame and the single run he gave up was unearned. He helped his own cause by going 1-for-2 at the plate. Anthony Trotta had a double in defeat for Old Forge. Mid Valley moves to 4-2 with the win while Old Forge falls to 4-2 as well.
