The first full week of the spring season in the books. There were some impressive performances and it was difficult to pick just one player form last week. The PBR OK Player of the Week is only made possible to high school coaches going above and beyond for their players as they send in their nominations each week. The first PBR OK Player of the Week is uncommitted senior catcher from Claremore, Trevor Janzen.

Trevor Janzen C / 1B / Claremore, OK / 2020Janzen went 8-for-11 (.727) with three doubles, a triple, two HBPs, and a walk while only punching out once. Jansen batted in 10 runs and scored one himself.

Jakob Brandenberger RHP / SS / Putnam City West, OK / 2020The right-handed recorded a 6-0 win vs PCO with 13K’s and 1 walk.

Kyle Chapman, RHP/2B, 2020, Bluejacket HS
5 stolen bases, 2 put outs, came in to relieve in the 5th with 6 strikeouts, no earned runs, a double and a Single. Only one game played due to weather this week.

Levi Haueter SS / RHP / Regent Preparatory, OK / 20205-11, 2B, 5 RBI. On the hill this week: 5 IP, 7 k’s, 1 win.

Brice Hill, RHP, 2020 El Reno HS
The 6-foot-4 220 Rose State sign threw 6 2/3 innings, picked up a win, and a save, allowing two hits, while striking out 11.
The 6-foot 145-pound two-way player batted .556 in 9 ABs with a .692 OBP, including a double and four runs scored. On the mound, the right-hander went 1-0 5 innings 1 hit 8k's.

Landry Kyle SS / RHP / Heritage Hall, OK / 2020The right-handed hitter batted .667 with two doubles, three RBIs and one stolen base. On the mound, Kyle went three innings with eight punch outs and allowing just one hit.

John(Keaton) Ruthardt RHP / OF / Deer Creek, OK / 2021Ruthardt went 5 innings allowing just two hits and punching out 11.

Dax Sharp LHP / OF / Pryor, OK / 2021Sharp went 7-for-12 with 4 runs and a stolen base. Also pitched 6 innings against NOAH Saturday striking out 8 and scattering 3 hits combining for a shutout win.

Tate Schuermann, 2021, Medford HS
Went 4-for-9 with a double, triple, three RBIs, and seven runs scored to go along with seven stolen bases. On the mound, he went 8.2 innings between 3 games earning a win and save allowing just one hut and two earned runs. Schuermann punched out 19 and walked seven.
