OK Preseason All-State Showcase: Check-In and Roster

Andy Urban
Oklahoma Scouting Director

OK PRESEASON ALL-STATE

The OK Preseason All-State Showcase will be moved to The Grind Sports Facility at 8001 NW 50th St in Oklahoma City. The event will take place on Sunday, February 3rd. One of the biggest and best indoor facilities in the state, The Grind features 8 movable cages and a fully enclosed turf infield. This one day event will feature top 2019-2022 prospects in the state.

Last year's Preseason All-State Showcase was the most talented PBR OK event, with nearly 40 of the 90 participants having committed, including multiple SEC and Big 12, and many more to come. Like last year, the event this year should be the most talented of the year and will sell out very quickly.

Additionally, this event will be used as an identifier for the PBR Future Games, which is the premier summer scouting event for incoming sophomores and juniors. The PBR Future Games, features the best prospects from our 41 state coverage area. Last year's PBR Future Games had 135 D1 colleges from all over the country in attendance.

OK Preseason All-State Showcase will be promoted on the Prep Baseball Report's website. The Prep Baseball Report is subscribed to by over 800 colleges and pro scouts across the country. All results will be posted on the site, along with player' highlights.

Notes

Parking/Watching
While The Grind is more than equipped to handle the baseball activities for the day with nearly 20,000 square ft of turf, the sitting areas for parents will be very limited. We ask that everyone is kind and considerate to each other in close quarters. Parking will be somewhat limited in the lot. There will be places to park along the street and around the building.

What to Wear
Please bring baseball pants, hats, belts, and tennis shoes/turf shoes. PBR numbered jerseys will be provided. Please also bring all necessary gear such as glove, bat, and catchers gear (catchers only)

Primary Position
We ask all players they only work out at their primary defensive position unless otherwise discussed.

Full Day
We are aware that this is a very full day of work, especially for catchers and two-way players. There will be down time for each player to eat and drink while their groups are not live. Do not forget to bring water and snacks to stay at your best throughout the event.

Cancellations
Please let us know as soon as possible if you will not be attending this event. There is a wait list of over 35 players to get into this event that would gladly fill any open spots.
