Ethan Caudill, RHP, Seneca East HS, 2014

6-foot-1, 180-pound pitching prospect with solid athletic frame. Steps straight back off the rubber in the windup. Limited use of the hips. Keeps a steady rhythm to his delivery. Throws from high ¾ arm slot with short arm action. Generates 81-83 mph fastball with straight action. Maintained the velocity from the stretch. Showed a 66-67 mph curveball and a harder breaking ball at 70-72 mph.

Alex Core, OF, Reynoldsburg HS, 2014

6-foot-1, 180-pound outfield prospect with long, lanky build. From the outfield, he uses long arm action through high ¾ arm slot. Throws uphill w/top velocity of 79 mph. Projects as a corner type.  His bat may be his best tool. Left-handed hitter with athletic stance. Uses a short stride. Hands show some quickness with uphill path to the ball. Showed some pull power in his swing during batting practice. Drove a single up the middle in game play. Overall, fluid rhythm to his swing.

CJ Schulte, C/RHP, Wilmington HS, 2014

5-foot-10, 175-pound prospect with solid frame. Worked out in multiple positions. From behind the plate, he uses short arm action. Needs to continue improving quickness and direction of footwork. Reached top velocity of 74 mph with 2.13 to 2.22 split times. At the plate, he showed a similar swing from both side of the plate. Stays over his backside better from the right side while he drifts a bit from the left side. Takes a level path to the ball. Needs to continue improving load and use of his lower half. On the mound, the right-handed pitcher uses slight inward turn from the windup. Uses short arm action to generate 77-80 mph fastball. Breaking ball showed 12/6 action with some depth at 60-64 mph.

Colton Nealeigh, IF/OF, Greenville HS, 2014

6-foot-2, 180-pound prospect with long, athletic frame. Due to past injury, he was limited in throwing during game play. Footwork showed well. Likely projects as a second base type. Best tool is his bat. Wide base. Decrease length of stance in his load. Shows some baring action. Hands take uphill path to the ball. Squared the ball up in the game play with multiple hits. Ran impressive 4.58 down the line.

Daniel O’Keefe, OF, Teays Valley HS, 2014

5-foot-10, 195-pound prospect with thick frame. Projects as a corner type with a top velocity of 77 mph. Threw uphill with long arm action through high ¾ arm slot. At the plate, he starts from an athletic stance. Uses a short stride. Shows some quickness in his hands. Top exit velocity of 80 mph off the tee. Slight uphill path to the ball. Shows some pull power. Ran a 4.59 down the line.

David Savron, IF, Highland HS, 2014

5-foot-8, 150-pound infield prospect. Projects as a second base type at the next level. Long arm action through ¾ arm slot. Top velocity of 66 mph across the diamond. Shows some softness in his hands and moves well to his left and right. At the plate, the right-handed hitter starts with a slightly open stance. Contact type hitter. Short stride with good use of his lower half. Slight uphill path to the ball. Rotational type mechanics to his swing.

Griffin Peyton, OF, Anderson HS, 2014

6-foot, 170-pound prospect with athletic frame.  Plays through the baseball in the outfield. Will improve with cleaner exchange. Reached top velocity of 77 mph from ¾ arm slot. At the plate, the right-handed hitter starts in a wide stance. Tends to bar in his load. Uses small leg kick. Takes slight uphill path to the ball. Registered impressive 4.4 down the line.

Jack Goodwin, 3B/1B, Rock Hill HS, 2014

5-foot-11, 195-pound prospect with thick, solid frame. Uses short arm action through high ¾ arm slot. Reached top velocity of 77 mph. Needs to continue improving accuracy. Showed good reactions.  Aggressive to the ball. At the plate, the right-handed hitter shows a bit of a toe tap in his load. Good use of his strong, lower half. Shows some baring action. Hands are quick through the zone. Top exit velocity of 85 mph off the tee. Ran a 4.46 off the tee.

Kevin Chonko, C, Nordinia HS, 2014

6-foot-3, 200-pound prospect with strong, durable frame. Narrow setup behind the plate. Sits high in his crouch. Gains ground with his footwork. Uses short arm action. Reached top velocity of 75 mph. Split times between 2.15 to 2.18.  The right-handed hitter shows a choppy rhythm to his swing. Starts with tall, narrow stance with a long stride. Takes level path to the ball. Showed some quickness in his hands. Registered top exit velocity of 87 mph off the tee.

Korey Wright, RHP, Hamilton Township HS, 2014

6-foot-2, 207-pound pitching prospect with tall, thick frame. Uses long arm action on the mound through high ¾ arm slot. Steady rhythm to his delivery WITH minimal hip load. Fastball sat at 78-80 mph, but we saw him 81-83 mph just a month earlier. Didn’t show much movement to his fastball. His breaking ball showed some depth at 66-69 mph.

Mitch Heyne, 1B/OF, Coldwater HS, 2014

5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect with strong, athletic frame. From the outfield, he showed short arm action through a high ¾ arm slot. Reached a top velocity of 70 mph. Showed better at first base. Good footwork. Looks more natural. Reached a top velocity of 71 mph. At the plate, he starts in an athletic stance. Uses a small leg kick in his load. Created solid contact with uphill path to the ball. Hands work through the zone.

Ryan Curtis, C/RHP, Westerville North HS, 2014

6-foot-1, 185-pound prospect with solid, athletic frame. From behind the plate, he shows fluid footwork and a clean exchange. Uses short arm action. Reached a top velocity of 72 mph from the crouch and split times between 2.12 to 2.15 with accuracy. The right-handed hitter starts in a slight crouch. Uses a short stride. Simple load with his hands. Slight uphill path to the ball with line drive production. On the mound, the righty uses a big leg kick and hip load. Shows long arm action through high ¾ arm slot. Wraps a bit in his back arm action. Fastball sits 77-79 mph with straight action. Breaking ball sits between 64-66 mph with good depth. Needs to maintain arm speed on the pitch. His changeup sat at 69 mph with good arm action. Sells the pitch well.

Sean Clayton, 1B, Sycamore HS, 2014

5-foot-11, 220-pound prospect with thick build and strong lower half. His best tool is his bat. Starts in athletic stance with a short stride from the left side. Tendency to collapse his backside. Takes slight uphill path to the ball. Showed some pull power. Overall aggressive swing. Registered 5.03 down the line. In the field, he shows a quick transfer on his throws. Reached a top velocity of 68 mph. Shows feel for the position.

Ty Husted, LHP, Dalton HS, 2014

6-foot-1, 160-pound lefty with thin, athletic frame. Fluid delivery. Stays tall on backside with big leg kick and hip load. Tends to pull hard on his front side.  Throws from a high ¾ arm slot with long arm action. Fastball shows some run at 74-75 mph. Breaking ball tended to be down in the zone at 65-67 mph with good depth at times while changeup registered at 65 mph.
