PBR Staff

We’re back with our 3rd edition of our weekly 6A Power Rankings. We are heading into the last week of regular season action. It has been an absolute sprint of a season so far but there are so BIG match-ups on the way that will have major implications on our Top 10 moving forward. For our previous Top 10 lists, click the following links.

Week 1

Week 2

Before we get started, here is a look at how games went yesterday for our current Top 10 squads

Monday Results:

#4 Clackamas def. Sandy: 11-0

#5 West Salem def. #9 Sprague: 7-5

#7 McMinnville lost to West Linn: 3-5

#10 Sherwood def. Century: 9-4

West Salem capitalized on a big, 6-run 4th inning that erased a 4-0 deficit against Sprague. The Titans have now won 10 in a row after dropping an early contest against West Albany in their 2nd game of the season. They finish up the week with a match-up against South Salem tomorrow and then get another chance against West Albany with a Saturday DH.

Tuesday Match-ups:

#3 Grant vs #4 Clackamas

#6 Mountain View vs Ridgeview

Grant vs Clackamas will be a huge match-up today to keep an eye on. Both teams have been outstanding all spring and finally get the chance to face off against each other.

Wednesday Match-ups

Southridge at #2 Westview

 #8 Jesuit at Mountainside

#7 McMinnville at #10 Sherwood

#5 West Salem at South Salem

A lot is on the line for #2 Westview as they host a Southridge team with one of the most powerful hitters in the state with ‘22 Jake Dodge (Oregon commit). Meanwhile, McMinnville looks to bounce back from a tough loss on Monday and with a Top 10 win over an experienced and battle tested Sherwood squad.
