Prep Baseball Report Iowa and Iowa USSSA, the leader in youth sporting events and programs in Iowa announced a partnership today which strives to collaborate and provide opportunities and education to players and families in the state.

“USSSA baseball has become a great foundation for youth baseball players in the state,” Prep Baseball Report Iowa State Director Rob Allison said. “They have provided structure and uniformity for players in the state, region and nation-wide. Prep Baseball Report strives to do the same thing for high school aged players as well. I believe this partnership will provide direction for players and families as they transition from the USSSA model into high school baseball and hopefully beyond. For players this age- it's not about getting seen or recruited- this is an opportunity for us to work with prospective baseball players and parents on creating a platform, a resume, and a plan on what it takes to ultimately get to the next level.”

Since its inception in 2005, the Prep Baseball Report has evolved into one of the country’s biggest and most respected independent scouting services, with a singular focus of providing comprehensive year-round coverage in every state we are in. The mission of the Prep Baseball Report is to scout and promote amateur baseball - high school, junior college and college - and, ultimately, help athletes achieve their dreams of playing baseball at the next level.

The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for amateur baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work in tandem, ultimately creating the most powerful source of high school baseball promotion in each state.  While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

“USSSA is focused on giving youth athletes the best possible environment to compete and learn. USSSA is a National sanctioning body for multiple sports. When it comes to baseball, USSSA is the largest and most played sanction nation-wide. USSSA offers leagues, tournaments and showcases for teams and individual players to compete in. The goal of USSSA is to provide a fun, safe, competitive environment for teams to be able to compete against other teams that are similarly talented. Here in Iowa, we take it very seriously to make sure that teams are able to show up at an event and be competitive. It is our job to provide plenty of opportunities for teams and players of all skill-levels to be able to compete and enjoy themselves at the same time.” said Bob Egr, (State Director – Iowa USSSA Baseball). “Prep Baseball Report is a program that I have come to really respect. Rob Allison is highly motivated and respected in his industry and does a fantastic job of helping kids move from one level of baseball to the next, whether that be from youth to high school, or high school to college and beyond. It makes a ton of sense for us to partner with Prep Baseball Report and to help the youth players from our program transition to the high school level and to start thinking about continuing on even further.”
