PBR Kansas Most Viewed Profiles: 2022 Edition

As 2022 comes to an end, Prep Baseball Report Kansas takes a look back at the Top 20 most viewed profiles from across the year.  This list features players that have already started their professional careers to players who are just getting their high school careers started.  With the help from Google Analytics we are able to see which profiles are getting the most attention from across the year and this list is full of prospects that need to be on recruiting radars.  PBR Kansas takes pride in being the number one source of all things Kansas amateur baseball and look forward to bringing you even more coverage in 2023.

Deacon Pomeroy C / 3B / Shawnee Heights, KS / 2025

One of the most physical players of the 2025 class in the country at 6-foot-4 215-pounds, Pomeroy has been garnering attention from coast to coast after a strong showing at the Future Games. 

 

Anson Seibert RHP / Blue Valley Southwest, KS / 2024

The physically impressive 6-foot-8 235-pound right-hander has made one of the biggest jumps of any pitcher in the country, showing on multiple occasions that he can command three pitches for strikes, featuring a fastball that sits in the low 90sand can creep into the mid 90s. Seibert will be high on scouts follow lists this spring.

 

Grady Westphal RHP / SS / Blue Valley, KS / 2025

The recent Texas A&M commit is on a meteoric rise and jumped on everyone's recruiting board thanks to his college ready slider, projection, and athleticism on the mound. 

 

Ben Bybee RHP / Blue Valley Southwest, KS / 2022

One of the cleanest deliveries in the Midwest, Bybee came back after injury better than ever. The 6-foot-6, 230-pounds showed out at the Super 60 pounding the zone with a solid 3 pitch mix featuring a fastball into the low 90s. The Arkansas commit went on to win pitcher of the year in KS. 

Cameron Carter OF / LHP / Olathe West, KS / 2024

The Arkansas commit is tooled out to say the least. The left-handed hitting speedster had an impressive year at the top of the line up for Olathe West. With his long term future likely as a position player, Carter can also run his fastball into the upper 80s. 

 

 

Jack Jones 1B / OF / Shawnee Mission East, KS / 2024

One of the top power potential bats in the Midwest, the Tennessee commit should be poised to have a big year for SME not only offensive, but as an elite defender at first base. 

 

Hudson Byrd RHP / Blue Valley, KS / 2024

The recent Kansas State commit has a frame any pitching coach can dream on 6-foot-5, 195-pounds and is already up to 90. 

 

Carson Wasinger OF / 1B / Blue Valley North, KS / 2024

Wasinger is one of the top uncommitted prospects in KS's 24 class and is becoming even more interesting as he polishes his skills in the outfield. The right-handed hitter knows how to use his levers at 6-foot4, 2210-pounds and a 98 mph exit velo. 

 

Jack Millman RHP / 3B / De Soto, KS / 2024

Millman had an impressive outing at this year's Future Games where he dominated the zone and hitters with a three pitch mix featuring a fastball in the upper 80s with high spin. 

 

Blake O'Brien OF / RHP / St. Thomas Aquinas, KS / 2024

An all around impressive multi sport athlete, O'Brien committed to Kansas after a strong showing on both sides of the ball at this year's future games. 

 

Victor Christal RHP / C / Bishop Miege , KS / 2024

The recent Missouri commit is another two-way prospect on our list. On the mound, Christal features a fastball into the low 90s and a big breaking ball with high spin. Defensively, Christal can play all over the field including his primary position behind the dish. 

 

Jeremy Comer OF / St James Academy, KS / 2023

The Tennessee commit in one of the more interesting bats in the Midwest with elite bat speed that produces some impressive exit velos. If Comer gets hot this spring and summer, he could have a chance to get his name called in the draft. 

 

Colton Sims 3B / OF / Shawnee Mission East, KS / 2025

Another future games participant on our list, Sims has the frame and physicality to have a bright future at the power 5 level had success against older competition all summer. 

 

Austin Young RHP / 1B / Blue Valley West , KS / 2023

A winner on the mound, the recent Bailor commit helped lead Blue Valley West to a State Championship and was dominant in the summer following. 

 

Parker Clubb C / RHP / Mulvane , KS / 2026

The young Louisville commit is a high end defender behind the dish, shows a pure swing from the left side, and has already been up to 86 on the mound. Clubb will be a fun prospect to follow for the next four years. 

 

Nate Fink 2B / OF / Blue Valley North, KS / 2025

A smaller bodied athlete with some quick twitch actions. Fink is an interesting prospect to follow, especially as he adds size and strength. 

 

Dylan Dreiling OF / LHP / Hays, KS / 2022

Dreiling started his 2022 with a strong showing at the Super 60 and followed it up with a huge spring for the Hays Indians, leading them to the state tournament. 

 

Whit Rhodes RHP / Hesston, KS / 2024

The durable right-hander committed to WSU after a strong showing at the Kansas Summer open. Rhodes features an upper 80s fastball and mixes two off speed pitches.

 

Keaton Neal SS / RHP / Springhill, KS / 2026

One of the top two-way prospect in the class in the Midwest, Neal is an exciting athlete that has a real chance to stay in the middle infield long term as well as pitch at a high level. The young right hander has already been into the upper 80s and shown an elite slider the he commands for strikes. 

 

Liam Roche LHP / 1B / Shawnee Mission South, KS / 2024

The upper 80s left hander committed to Iowa after the Preseason All-State showcase last year. Roach shows a clean a loose arm should allow him to continue to add velocity as he continues to grow.
