PBR Kentucky Player of The Week: Highlands 2023 RHP/IF Jack Hendrix

Chris Fuller
KY Executive Director

hendrixThe week of April 10-15 produced many worthy nominees for our Player of The Week award. In fact, without hesitation, this was the toughest week to choose one player thus far this spring; so much so that our staff narrowed it down to five players and each submitted a vote to determine this week's selection.

Uncommitted senior Jack Hendrix started the week off with a bang when he fired a five-inning, complete game no-hitter with 13 strikeouts in a win over Paintsville, but that's not where his week ended. Hendrix's stat line for the week is below.

6 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 16 K
9-for-16, HR, 7 RBI

For the season, the uncommitted senior's stat lines look like this.

11.1 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 22 K
.400, 2-2B, 1-3B, 1-HR, 15 RBIs

For his outstanding performance on the field, Highlands senior Jack Hendrix has been selected as the PBR Kentucky Player of The Week for April 10-15.
