PBR Kentucky Player of The Year: Beechwood OF Cameron Boyd

Chris Fuller
Executive Director

We are proud to announce Cameron Boyd (Beechwood HS) as The 2023 PBR Kentucky Player of The Year. Boyd put up video-game numbers in leading Beechwood back to the State Tournament for the third consecutive year. The athletic, 6.65-second runner and University of Southern Indiana commit hit a whopping .508 with 12 Home Runs, 13 doubles, 4 triples, and 50 RBIs. He also scored  53 runs to go along with a perfect 30-for-30 on stolen base attempts. Boyd possesses a speed and power combination that is rare at the high school level, and he should be an immediate impact player when he steps foot on the campus at Southern Indiana this fall.

Beechwood Tigers Head Coach Kevin Gray stated “Beechwood is nowhere near The State Tournament without Cameron Boyd, and our program is in a better place because of him.”

On behalf of the entire PBR Kentucky staff, we congratulate Cameron on his outstanding season.
