Prep Baseball Report's Nebraska Summer ID event took place on Sunday, June 6th, 2022. The event was held at Haymarket Park in Lincoln, NE. The event featured prospects from the 2023, 2024 & 2025 grad classes; and included many breakout performances from the players in attendance. Players showcased their talents in front of our scouting staff and college coaches.

Chase Bouges, Concordia (), 2023
Positional Profile: SS/RHP
Body: 6-1, 150-pounds.
Delivery: set up the far left side of the rubber.  Works with good tempo with early connection between glove and lead leg.
Arm Action: RH. long out of glove loose with H ¾ finish
FB: T79, 76.3-79 mph. 1938 average rpm. Pitches up in the zone
CB: 66.8-69.0 mph. 1976 average rpm. More gradual slurve breaking action 
CH:  72.9-73.8 mph. , 1295 average rpm. Good arm speed with fade.


Cade Bridges, Ashland-Greenland(), 2023
Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Body: 6-0, 165-pounds.
Delivery: Athletic through high leg lift finishes with some effort down the mound
Arm Action: RH. loose with some quickness
FB: T84.4, 76.9-84.4 mph. 1978 average rpm. Some zip out of hand at times will miss up
CB: 66.8-69.0 mph. 1976 average rpm. Shorter downward break
CH:  78.8-80 mph., 1621 average rpm. Good arm speed and feel

John Colton Cain, Elkhorn South(), 2023
Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Body: 6-1, 190-pounds.
Delivery:Stiff hands with a slight lead back into leg lift.  Open toe at landing. 
Arm Action: RH. Arm works with some quickness
FB: T83.1, 82.3-83 mph. 2153 average rpm. Mostly straight missed high.
CB: 67.6-69.9 mph. 2010 average rpm. Gradual 11/7 break. 
CH:  75.3-76,6 mph.,1645 average rpm. Good some sink and fade

Bosten Caspersen, Centura(), 2023
Positional Profile: RHP/3B
Body: 5-11, 178-pounds.
Delivery:Stiff hands. Appears out of control down mound with soft front side through rotation.
Arm Action: RH. has some funk and quickness to it.
FB: T80.8, 78.7-80.6 mph. 2280 average rpm. Some sink and tail to the arm side
CB: 70.6-72.1 mph. 2555 average rpm. Tight late break

Ethan Gillispie, Omaha Gross(), 2023
Positional Profile: LHP/OF
Body: 5-10, 195-pounds.
Delivery: Gets a lot of forward momentum.  Need more lower half engagement.  Soft front leg through release
Arm Action: RH.short elbow drives up out of glove.  O/T finish
FB: T74.5, 73.6-74.5 mph. 1809 average rpm. Straight located well
CB: 60.7-61.7 mph. 1906 average rpm. More gradual break
CH:  66.1-61.7 mph. ,1295 average rpm.. Best off-speed mimics FB well

Delivery:Good tempo into leg lift.  Collapse front knee through rotation into release.

Delivery:relaxed tempo, hinges down mound well. Momentum carries through front leg into ball release.

CB: 67.3-70.2 mph. 1702 average rpm. Shorter breaks  easy glove side command
