PBR NY and NYCBL Form Player Scouting Partnership

Dan Cevette
President

The New York Collegiate Baseball League (NYCBL) is proud to announce a formal player scouting partnership with Prep Baseball Report - New York (PBR-NY).

PBR-NY will be providing scouting coverage from the 2021 All Star Game to be held Sunday July 11, 2021 at a location that is still to be determined. The NYCBL and Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League (ACBL) All-Stars will square off for the third time in this unique ASG format.

PBR-NY will be an integral part of the pregame, putting all hitters on Trackman and Blast Motion along with defensive player arm strengths, and in-game pitchers via Trackman. This will also incorporate physical scouts along with the PBR-NY scout blog.

NYCBL Commissioner Joe Brown had this to say, “This is a great opportunity for the players in the NYCBL and ACBL to be scouted and then provided an analytical assessment of their abilities. To partner with PBR-New York is a perfect fit.”

The partnership does not end there, there will be an "East and West" preseason NYCBL Scout Day respectively. It will not be mandatory by the league but players from each division will be welcome to attend. There will be more details on this to come prior to the start of the season.

"The NYCBL was founded in 1978 with a strong tradition in getting college players more exposure to the next-level during the summer season. We are extremely excited to partner with the NYCBL bringing our platform, social media presence and baseball technology to the players of the NYCBL,” said Dan Cevette, President of New York and Pennsylvania for Prep Baseball Report.
