PBR New England Spotlight Game: Nashua North vs Bedford

In the game between Nashua North and Bedford, Nashua North RHP Spencer Bergeron faced off against Bedford RHP Connor Lee.

Nashua North scored first totaling 2 hits and 1 run in the top of the 1st. Connor Lee then settled in for Bedford giving them 4 straight no-hit innings following the 1st.

Although the Bedford offense had a slow start, the bats came alive scoring 6 runs in the 3rd, 1 in the 4th and 4 more in the 6th to beat Nashua North 11-1.

Spencer Bergeron, a Massachusetts-Amherst commit, had a strong start for Nashua North giving them a scoreless 1st and 2nd inning. Bergeron lost command of the game in the 3rd when Bedford rallied for 6 runs.

Bergeron came back out in the 4th and gave up another run making the score 7-1. After 4 innings, Bergeron’s day was over and he was credited the loss.

Connor Lee gave up the first run of the game in the 1st inning on 2 hits but he quickly settled in and got to work. After the 1st, he threw 4 scoreless innings for Bedford recording 7 strikeouts.
