The first game of the 6A State Tournament turned into one of the wildest affairs of the season between Deer Creek and Jenks.  With each team trading blows back and forth it was Jenks that put up two runs in the top of the 7th to tie it up at 13.  William Brady Hamilton lead of the bottom of the 7th with a single and after a sacrifice bunt and fielder's choice moving him up to 3rd base it was Senior Miles Lock who stepped up to the plate.  On the first pitch Lock laid down the perfect squeeze bunt down the first base line to bring in the winning run and sending Deer Creek to the 6A State Semi-Finals.
