With his team trailing 3-1 in the 4th inning of what ended up being one of the more exciting games throughout 2022, Ty Chaddrick stepped up to the plate and dropped one that bounced off the top of the wall and over for a grand slam giving Tuttle the 5-3 lead.  Although this homer can in what would be a losing effort to rival Blanchard for the 4A State Title, it is always fun to see players step up in big moments and deliver memories that they will have for a lifetime.  The 2022 grad is now competing for Murray State College in Tishimingo and will be a fun follow throughout his collegiate career.

Starts in a balanced tall stance with a controlled small load, then uses a short stride before his swing. Has some bat speed, flat swing plane and low finish. Barreled up some balls throughout his round. Gap to gap approach. His best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 74 mph; shows a developing exchange, firm hands and developing feet. Had a high ¾ slot and a long arm action. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.08.

10/27/19

A developing 5-foot-8, 130-pound frame . On the mound, the left-hander works from an average tempo delivery with a high leg kick before taking a long stride for his height down the mound and finishing balanced. Arm action is long in the back making a moderate circle before coming through  a near over the top slot. Fastball sits 67-69 mph, flashing some arm side run, some strikes. Slider shows 1/7 shape with some depth at 60-61 mph. Curveball is still developing at 53-55. In the game, Chadwick has some trouble finding the zone, but settled in, striking out 2 of the last three batters he faced.

10/27/19

Demonstrated a lean 5-foot-8, 130-pound frame with present athleticism that will fill out as he matures. The left-handed hitter begins from a balanced, even stance utilizing a short lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Generated a flat barrel-path into the zone creating a line drive approach while hitting into a stiff front-side. Registered a 72 mph bat-exit velocity from the tee and recorded a 7.27 60-yard dash. Displayed solid footwork during defensive evaluations creating advantageous routes to the ball while notching accurate 74 mph arm-strength from his position out of a high ¾ arm-slot with a long takeaway. Additional velocity will be seen as he fills out his current lean frame.
