PBR Ontario Spotlight Game: 15u EBLO Championship Recap

Pan Am Park – The Oshawa Legionaires and the Mississauga North Tigers squared off to see who would be the champion of the EBLO 15u Showcase Tournament.

The Tigers would strike in the top of the first with Ashton Feijo hitting a 1 out triple and was driven in by the next batter on a groundout.

Both pitcher’s dueled it out until the Tigers put up 3 more runs in the third with RBIs from TJ Schofield-Sam and David Coleman.

The Tigers starter Josh Blanchard was solid until giving up two runs in the fourth and eventually handed the ball off to reliever Matthew Barta in the fifth.

Oshawa’s runs in the fourth were scored by RBI’s from Dawson Sarginson and Davis McMillan. The Tigers wouldn’t slow their bats down as they scored 3 in the fourth and 4 more in the fifth to secure the mercy rule victory over Oshawa with a score of 12-2.

TJ Schofield-Sam – 1 for 4, 3B, 5 RBI

Austin Bertrand – 1 for 3, 3 SB, 3 Runs Scored, RBI
