Monday's game against #1 James Madison was a heartbreaker for South Lakes, as they lost the lead late in a 9-6 defeat. The game was tied at six with #1 James Madison batting in the top of the seventh when Colin Tuft drew a walk, scoring one run. Despite the loss, South Lakes did collect five hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, #1 James Madison had eight hits on the way to victory.

It came down to the wire on Tuesday, with Hermitage taking victory on a dramatic walk-off single in the late innings that sealed their victory over Deep Run. The game was tied at three with Hermitage batting in the bottom of the seventh when Joe Williams singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Osbourn fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 12-1 loss to #5 Battlefield on Wednesday. #5 Battlefield scored five runs in the fourth inning. The big inning for #5 Battlefield came thanks to singles by JP Williams, Blagen Pado, and Jackson Baird and an error on a ball put in play by Kuzmicki. Joe Christopher earned the win for #5 Battlefield. Christopher allowed three hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out four and walking zero. Adam Kuzmicki and Jack Robinson entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
