With great excitement, we give to you our updated Class of 2023 Rankings across the Virginia/DC area. The transition from Freshmen to Sophomore year usually brings with it the biggest inclusion of players into our rankings as Spring and summer sheds new light to top players. Though the pandemic made for a slow start with the lack of a spring season, this summer and fall saw a huge inclusion of talent that helped us expand this class by more than double as we are now at the top 125 players we have come across.

This large of an update can sometimes cause a lot movement in the rankings. New faces will enter in the ranks and make things move around as this class continues to expand. With this addition of 75 players, we see that across the board.

Some real interesting talent in this portion of our rankings as we see more uncommitted talent in this portion. Starting off at No. 29, Joe Fredericks showed very well over the summer as well as at the PBR Future Games with a strong performance. The lefty possesses a three pitch mix with nice control of the arsenal and an aggressive approach on the bump.

At No. 35 is Jakob Foster of Patriot HS in Northern Virginia. Foster has shown improved strength over the course of the year showing increased arm strength and plenty still remaining in the tank. Foster showed well at the recent Stars Baseball Scout day with an interesting mix while topping out at 85.

Right behind Foster is another new face who has impressed recently in infielder Yoon Chae (Cape Henry Collegiate. Chae recently moved to Virginia from Ontario, Canada and showed very well at the recent Richmond Braves Scout day with smooth actions and compact stroke.

Lots of very impressive performances over the fall from new faces in our ranks including Owen Basso, Alex Caruso, Kyle Carpe, Ethan Blakeney, and Jae'dan Carter to name a few.

But enough talk here is a sneak peek at No. 26-34.
