It was a pitcher's duel Tuesday night between Connor Sorokowski of Lee-Davis and Tyler Bradt of Deep Run. Sorokowski would come out on top of this one as the Confederates of Lee-Davis would score in the sixth and take a 1-0 victory over #15 Deep Run.

Bradt was magnificent on the night for Deep Run, as he faced the fifteen batter minimum over the first five innings. Over those five innings the VMI commit struck out five, including the side in the first.

The junior Sorokowski was no slouch either. With the exception of a leadoff walk in the second and a one out single in the fifth the Lee-Davis righty matched his opposition pitch for pitch.

In the sixth inning Jalen Strattman reached on an infield single with one out. After that Strattman would end up at third after a wild pitch and a miscue on a pickoff play. With runners on the corners and one out Lee-Davis would hit into a 3U fielder's choice and Strattman would score making it 1-0 Confederates.

In the bottom of the sixth Deep Run would try to rally and scratch a run, but Sorokowski would get a flyball to right field to end the bases loaded threat.

The one run would be all that Sorokowski and Lee-Davis would need as they would upset No. 15 Deep Run with a 1-0 victory.

Sorokowski threw seven innings, scattered five singles, and struck out four in the shutout.

Bradt also threw seven innings striking out six, allowed the one infield single, and one unearned run.
