Scouting Report

3/5/17- 5-foot-11, 175-pound right-handed pitcher. Above avg. arm strength for age, rolls through windup into stride, clean arm action, ball jumps out of hand well. Fastball works on downhill plane at 88-89 mph; touching 90 mph. Velocity on breaking ball, 77-79 mph, thrown hard with 10/4 shape and flashes of late break. Heavy action in bottom of zone with changeup with avg. feel. Presently more of an arm strength guy; if Hromidko shows velocity and pitchability in game action; won’t be uncommitted for long.

8/1/16- 5-foot-11, 175-pound right-handed pitcher. Live arm that topped out at 90 mph. Relatively simple mechanics, long clean arm action, and drives ball down the mound with intent. Fastball showed slight downhill plane with cut action at 85-88 mph; touching 90 mph. 11/5 curveball, thrown with good arm speed, has solid shape and break. Changeup was firm; thrown at fastball arm speed. Strong follow in 2019 IA class.
