There were several worthy candidates submitted for Player of the Week, but as we mulled through the numbers, one player stood out.

Uncommitted Bearden 2017 3B Brandon Trammell impressed our staff as a member of Team Tennessee for the PBR Future Games last summer. It’s no surprise the 6-foot-4, 205-pound left-handed hitter has gotten off to a fast start in helping lead Bearden to a 10-3 record this spring.

Last week, Trammell went 9-for-18 with four doubles, a triple, two walks and 10 RBI. For good measure, he also pitched three innings allowing no runs while striking out three.

For his performance on the field, Bearden 2017 3B Brandon Trammell has been selected as the PBR Tennessee Player of the Week for March 21-26.
