Power 25 - Week 9

The final regular season rankings are in and Desert Oasis has earned the top spot. Basic holds at #2 Faith Lutheran has climbed all the way to #5 on the laurels of their division championship and #1 seed. Bishop Gorman and Centennial fall a few spots while Vegas, Spanish Springs and Arbor View hold strong.
Pahrump Valley appears to be playing their best baseball of the season and their timing could not be better as they leap frog Boulder City and earn the 3A class #1 ranking in the final week of the regular season. Truckee climbs to #2 leaving Boulder City at #3. Moapa Valley re-enters the Power 25 in the final week at #5
There was some shuffling at the 2A and 1A classes but the players are the same. Lincoln County continues to be the 2A favorite, but Laughlin and The Meadows are formidable opponents. Incline remains at #5. 1A Pahranagat Valley holds the #1 spot while Northern Nevada Smith Valley ascends to #2. Tonopah has played their best baseball over the last two weeks and could be a state championship participant. Although Indian Springs falls to #4, the perennial power has playoff experience that should prove valuable.
