Power 25 Team Rankings - Update
April 11, 2023
Now that teams are back in the state playing games, we are starting to see how the teams stack up against each other. The Power 25 comprises multiple factors, overall record, the strength of record, the strength of schedule, and our inputs from scouting and gathering information on teams. It is still baseball, and the team that can pitch, play defense, and gets timely hits, can win on any given day. And so far, that is what we have seen this season. Let's look at our updated rankings as we head into week six.
This week, we have a new number one, with Broomfield (8-0) taking over the top spot. Eaton (10-0) stays locked in at number two, with Heritage (10-0) moving to three. Rounding out the top five is Rocky Mountain (8-0) at four and Cherry Creek (7-4) at five. Dropping out of the rankings are Erie (2-5), Golden (5-4), Riverdale Ridge (5-3), Brighton (4-3), and Lakewood (6-4). Moving in this week are Chatfield (6-4), Prairie View (6-2), Grandview (5-4), Severance (6-2), and Longmont (11-0).
