Preseason All-State: Official Statistics Posted

On Saturday, February 22, PBR Indiana hosted its annual Preseason All-State Showcase at Westfield High School in Westfield, IN. A record 153 players within the 2015-2017 classes participated in the event, and as always the talent was deep.
Of the 78 pitchers in attendance; 52 touched 80 mph or higher, 12 were 85 mph or higher, and 8 were 86 mph or higher. 2015 LHP Ryan Bettcher, 2016 RHP Collin Lollar, and 2016 LHP Andrew Saalfrank recorded the highest fastball velocity at 87 mph.
A total of 14 prospects ran a sub 7.0 in the 60-yard dash, including Devon Hensley's event best 6.69.
