Preseason Preview: Harrison HS

By Chris Valentine
PBR Ohio Scouting Director

Harrison High School is coming off a successful 2012 campaign that included a 14-0 finish in the Fort Ancient Valley Conference along with a 20-6 overall record.

Instead of rebuilding, Coach Sowders is hoping his squad is simply reloading with a fresh batch of young talent on the varsity level. Harrison will surely feel the loss of Jacob Galloway (originally committed to WSU) and Kyle Nowlin (Eastern Kentucky recruit). As a result, there were will be several new faces in the lineup with only two regular starters returning. Meanwhile, the pitching staff returns five players from last season’s squad.
