With only three seniors, Marlington will be turning to several talented underclassmen to improve upon an 11-17 record in 2012. The squad returns five starters as well as three pitchers.

Coach Gabelt and the Dukes will look to compete in a talented Northeastern Buckeye Conference against Canton South (2012 conference champs), Alliance, West Branch, and Louisville.

Class of 2013

• RHP, Jordan Knapp – Last year, the righty went pitched 17 innings. He went 1-1 with two saves, 28 strikeouts, and a 4.04 ERA.

Class of 2014

• SS/C, Jake Walker – Last year, the talented prospect compiled 25 hits while scoring 13 runs.
• 2B/SS/RHP, Shawn Kirk
• IF, Conner O’Brien – Last year, he compiled 16 hits and 12 RBI.
• OF, D.J. Greiener

Class of 2015

• C/3B/RHP, Tony Rupert – Last year, he was one of the Duke’s leading hitters with a  .379 average including 33 hits and 17 RBI.
• RHP/1B Brock Balderson – The righty will be counted on in the rotation after compiling a 3-3 record with a 4.00 ERA as a freshman.
• IF/OF, Jacob Jones

• C/3B, Tyler Tokos
• RHP/3B, Jacob Begue
• OF, Trent Weigand
