GW Long: Defeated Samson 23-4, 12-0; Defeated New Brockton 19-3, 15-1; Defeated Leroy 5-4, 8-2

Thorsby: Defeated Horseshoe Bend 10-0, 6-0; Defeated Cottage Hill 12-1, 12-2; Defeated Ariton 7-2, 4-1

The winners of these series will face off in Montgomery for the 2A state championship beginning Wednesday, May 15 at 4:00 PM at Patterson Field. Game 2 will be Thursday, May 16 at 10:00 AM at Riverwalk Stadium with an "if necessary" game to follow immediately after.
