Recruiting News Around Missouri

In the latest recruiting news around Missouri, OF Kolby Follis from Bolivar and RHP Ryan Franklin from Ft. Zumwalt West have made their college commitments.

Follis has commited to Maple Woods College. A member of team Missouri for the Class of 2013 Midwest Future Games, Follis has impressed througout PBR showcases with his speed and ability to track balls in the outfield. Follis is one of the fastest runners in the Class of 2013, with a top 60 time of 6.65. He has also shown some arm stregnth, with a top throw of 85 mph. To view Follis' profile, click here.

Franklin will be continuing his baseball career at Truman State. At a recent PBR event, Franklin showed ability to command three pitches for strikes, with a fastball that topped at 78-mph. Last season, Franklin went 1-2 with a 3.23 ERA and 17 strikeouts in 17 innings. Franklin should be a key in the starting rotation for Ft. Zumwalt West in 2013. To view Franklin, profile, click here.
