Former Prep Baseball Report first-team All-State 3B Michael Failoni (Edwardsville HS, Class of 2010) has committed to play at Lindenwood University next year. Now a sophomore at Heartland CC, Failoni batted .409 with 8 homers, 70 RBI and 14 stolen bases as a freshman for the Hawks last spring.

Alec Barnhart, a switch-hitting SS/RHP from Oak Lawn HS, has committed to St. Xavier University. Barnhart is a three-year starter at Oak Lawn.

Nick Bifano, a RHP from Glenwood HS, has committed to West Virginia Wesleyan College.

Noe Arteaga, a RHP from Gordon Tech HS, has committed to Danville Area CCC.

David Negrete, a 1B from South Elgin HS, has committed to College of DuPage.
