Recruitment Spotlight: Chandler Sedat 2015, RHP, West Bloomfield HS

Chandler Sedat is a right handed pitcher out of West Bloomfield, Michigan, who attends West Bloomfield H.S. and is the 9th ranked PBR prospect in the state for the class of 2015.

Pitcher is his primary position and that’s where he is projecting at the college level. The 6’3, 195 pound prospect has a fastball that is in the high-80s and also has a solid curveball and change-up in his arsenal.

When it comes to choosing where he will attend college, Sedat has solid interest from many division 1 programs with visits to Louisville, Michigan State, Michigan and Central Michigan.

He currently holds a 3.85 grade point average and scored a 23 on this ACT exam. He plans on majoring in health science’s when he’s enrolled in college.

Sedat’s mom attended San Diego State and his father attended the University of Kentucky, so it remains to be seen if those schools will come into play.

Sedat added fifteen pounds to his frame during his offseason work. While adding the weight, he also spent his time working in the off-season on his overall strength and hitting locations with his pitches.

Sedat worked with Caleb Stewart this off-season, he is scout with the Chicago Cubs organization and  also a member of the Huntington Hounds.
