Regional 1: Champion – Penn

Regional 2: Champion – Zionsville

Carmel 3 FW Northrop 0 – A pitcher’s battle finally saw some runs in the sixth inning when Carmel brought three runs in. Colin Donahue’s second hit of the game with the bases loaded brought in all three runs to give Carmel the first lead of the game. Three runs were more than enough for Max Habegger. Habegger threw a complete game shutout on the mound allowing just two hits and struck out eight.

Zionsville 3 Homestead 1 – Zionsville finally broke a scoreless game with two runs in the bottom of the fifth thanks to a two run homerun from Nick Prather. Jacob Hurtubise added another run an inning later with a RBI single. Prather went 2-3 and Hurtubise was 3-3 with a run. Prather also got the win on the mound throwing 6.2 innings allowing one run on four hits, striking out five. Homestead threatened the top of the seventh loading the bases with two outs, but Jack Pilcher came in to close out the game striking out the only batter he faced.

Zionsville 8 Carmel 4 – Zionsville scored in each of their first five at bats on the way to a title. Jordan Cox got them on the board in the first with a two out, two RBI single. Jacob Hurtubise went 3-4 with two RBI and a run, Drew Bertram was 2-4 with a double, RBI, and two runs, Cox had three RBI, Chad Garisek went 1-3 with a triple, RBI, and a run, Nick Prather doubled and scored, and Riley Bertram had a RBI and a run. Jack Pilcher threw 3.1 innings in relief allowing one run on four hits, striking out five. James Meyer closed out the game getting the final two outs.

Regional 3: Champion – Roncalli

Pendleton Heights 8 Avon 3 – Pendleton Heights scored six time in the bottom of the second inning to take the lead for good. After allowing three runs in the first two inning PH starter Chayce McDermott settled in and threw five shutout innings to get the complete game win. He allowed six hits and struck out nine. Logan Robertson went 3-4 with a double and a RBI, Casey Branham went 2-3 with a double, three RBI, and a run, Jake Harris was 2-4 with two RBI and a run, Eston Stull had a RBI and a run, and Matt Vetor had a hit and two runs scored.  

Roncalli 7 Lawrence North 4 – Roncalli scored three in both the third and fourth inning to give them a 7-0 lead. Michael McAvene got the win on the mound striking out eight in 5.1 innings allowing two runs on three hits. Conrad Daniel closed out the game allowing two runs on three hits, striking out two in 1.2 innings of work. Will Harris bought in the first run in the second with a RBI groundout. In the third Cody Smith singled in a run and Dylan Williams had a two run double. Nick Schnell went 1-1 with a triple, RBI, and two runs, Smith finished 2-4, Tyler Lucas was 2-3 with a run scored, and Robbie Strader was 2-4 with a double and a run.

Roncalli 12 Pendleton Heights 6 – Roncalli got on the board first with two runs in the opening frame. After PH scored five in the top of the third, Roncalli responded with their own five run inning in the bottom half to take the lead for good. In the fifth Cody Smith got the offense started with a two run doubled, Dylan Williams had a RBI single to tie the game, and Tyler Lucas capped off the inning with a two run homerun. Smith Went 3-3 with two doubles and five RBI, Jake Franklin went 3-4 with a double, RBI, and four runs, and Nick Schnell was 2-4 with a double and four runs. Conrad Daniel threw the final three innings to close out the game. He didn’t allow a hit or a run, while striking out two.

 

Regional 4: Champion – Center Grove

New Albany 5 Evansville Harrison 0 – Austin Dickey threw a complete game shutout to send New Albany into the Monday title game. In his seven innings he allowed just four hits, while striking out 14. Dickey also had a good game at the plate going 3-4 with a triple and two RBI. Timmie Redford and Jacob Mullins each had RBI singles.

Center Grove 5 Bloomington South 1 – Jacob Cantleberry put CG into the title game with a complete game performance on the mound. He allowed just one run on three hits, striking out nine. Will Smithey got the offense started with a RBI sac fly in the first, he then singled in the third to bring in the second run of the game. CG added three more in the fifth with a two RBI single from Gudeman and a RBI double from Pinegar. Tye Thixton tripled and scored twice.

Center Grove 5 New Albany 4 – Brian Gudeman hit a walk off RBI doubled in the bottom of the seventh to win the title for Center Grove. Michael Wyman got CG’s offense started with a solo homerun in the fourth. After New Albany scored four time in the top of the fifth Wyman had a RBI single to cut the deficit to 4-3. Triston Clark doubled in the sixth to tie the game at four.

Regional 5: Champion - Western

Griffith 4 Mishawaka Marian 1 – Julian Rutherford threw a complete game to get the opening round win, allowing six hits, one unearned runs, and struck out two. Kody Hoese got the offense on the board right away with a solo homerun in the first. After Rutherford singled Anthony Quintero added another run in the first with a RBI doubled. Alec Seberger went 2-3 with a run, Amir Wright was 2-4 with a RBI, and Cole Cervantes went 1-1 with a double and a run.

Western 11 Glenn 0

Western 10 Griffith 4 – Western scored three in the first and three in the second to take the lead for good. Patrick Mills opened the scoring up with a two run doubled in the first. Luke Florek went 2-3 with two doubles, a RBI, and two runs, Kaleb Howard homered, drove in two, and scored twice, Tyler Burthay went 2-3 with a homerun and two RBI, and Brayden Deweese had a double, RBI, and a run. Dalton Leighty threw the first four innings to get the win allowing two runs on three hits, striking out six. Brodee Lipinski closed out the game throwing the final three innings allowing three hits, no earned runs, and struck out three.

 

Regional 6: Champion - Delta

Delta 7 Bellmont 5 – Delta had a big second inning scoring four runs in the frame. After Bellmont event the scored in the third Delta broke the tie in the fifth and added two insurance runs in the seventh to get the win. Adam Paschal doubled, had the RBI single in the fifth, and scored once. Adisyn Coffey went 2-3 with two runs, Jacob Van Pelt doubled and scored, and Adam Haynes and Tanner Lambert each had a RBI and a run scored. Haynes threw the final three innings to get the win allowing one run, one hit, and struck out four.

NorthWood 3 FW Bishop Dwenger 1 – Miranda picked up the win on the mound throwing a complete game allowing seven hits, no earned runs, and struck out three. NorthWood scored right away bringing two across in the first, Tanner Cleveland led the game off with a single and would score two batters later on a Sellers sac fly. Mast also singled and scored in the innings. Cleveland’s second hit of the game was a RBI single in the second and Mullet was 1-3 with a run scored.

Delta 8 NorthWood 7 – Delta was held scoreless in the first four innings before scoring in each of the last three innings to get the win. They broke a 5-5 tie with a three run fifth inning. Nick Bantz got the scoring going in the seventh with a two run triple and would score after a Mitchell Hahn RBI single. Hahn finished the day going 4-5 with a homerun, four RBI, and two runs, Tanner Lambert was 2-4 with two runs, Arain Coffey went 1-3 with a RBI and a run, and Adam Haynes was 2-4 with a run. NorthWood threatened to tie the game in the bottom of the seventh. After scoring two runs with they had runners on first and second with two outs before Coffey got a ground ball to end the game.

 

Regional 7: Champion – Northview

Northview 8 Brebeuf 7 – Tucker broke a 5-5 tie in the bottom of the sixth with a three run homerun. Tucker ended the day going 2-3 with a double, five RBI, and two runs, Howald was 2-4 with a double, RBI, and two runs, Shaw went 2-4 with two doubles and a RBI, and Clawson also doubled twice and scored once. Lancaster got the win in relief throwing three innings allowing two runs on three hits, striking out three. Lancaster’s third strikeouts ended the game, stranding the tying run on first base.

Indian Creek 7 Frankfort 6 – With Indian Creek trailing 6-3 in the top of the seventh Sam Willis put them ahead for the first time in the game with a grand slam. Dawson Read went 3-4 with two doubles and two RBI, and Tyler Parks had a hit and two RBI. Trevor Ankney had a 1-2-3 inning in the bottom of the seventh to end the game. Ankney got the win in relief throwing four innings allowing three runs, two hits, and struck out five.

Northview 11 Indian Creek 4 – Northview blew open a tight game in the seventh with a six run inning. Dalton Shaw went 2-4 with three RBI, Braydon Tucker had a double, two RBI, and a run, Jase Glasbaum went 2-3 with a RBI and two runs, Andy Young went 1-1 with a RBI and a run, Luke Lancaster went 1-3 with a RBI, and Mitchell Howald was 1-3 with three runs. Nathan Thomas started the game going 4.1 innings allowing two earned runs, five hits, and struck out four. Luke Lancaster got the win throwing 1.2 innings allowing one run, two hits, and struck out five. Tucker closed out the game throwing the final inning, striking out two.

 

Regional 8: Champion – Evansville Memorial

Evansville Memorial 7 Brownstown Central 0 – Evansville Memorial scored in four of their six at bats, jumping on the board early with five runs in the first two innings. Drew Ashley led the offense going 3-4 with two doubles, a RBI, and two runs scored. Caleb Meeks was 2-3 with a double, triple, RBI, and two runs, Kyle Niehaus was 1-3 with two RBI, Ryan Lockard was 1-3 with a RBI, Will Wimber had a double, RBI, and a run, and Michael Lindauer doubled and scored twice. Ashley got the start throwing three shutout innings allowing just one hit. Luke Johnston came on in relief to get the win throwing four hitless innings, striking out five.

Jasper 4 Greensburg 1 – Cal Krueger put Jasper into the title game throwing a complete game on the mound. He allowed one run on four hits and struck out 11 to get the win. Jacob Lents got the scoring started with a RBI single in the second and Krueger added a run in the third with a RBI single of his own. Krueger went 3-3, Evan Aders was 2-4 with a RBI and a run, and Brandon Bayer had a hit and a run scored.

Evansville Memorial 7 Jasper 4 – Three runs in the bottom of the fifth put Memorial in the lead for good. Drew Ashley allowed four runs in the first two innings before settling in and throwing five shutout innings to close out the game. In his complete game win, he allowed six hits and struck out 11. Caleb Meeks went 3-5 with two RBI and a run, Ashley was 2-3 with a double, RBI, and two runs, Noah Evans went 2-3 with a run, Ryan Lockard was 1-2 with three runs, and Will Durchholz had a hit and a RBI.

Regional 9: Champion – Hebron

Bremen 2 Adams Central 1

Hebron 3 Bishop Noll 0 – Travis Patrick threw a complete game shutout to send Hebron to the title game. In his seven innings he allowed just four hits and struck out seven. Tyler Patrick brought in the first run with a RBI groundout in the second inning. In the fifth Hebron added a pair of insurance runs on a RBI doubled from Luke Woodward and a sac fly from Hunter Ryan. Jake Everaert went 2-3 with a run and Logan Ryan and Mark Martin each scored once.

Hebron 4 Bremen 3 – Both teams scored once in the first and twice in the fifth before Hebron took the lead for good. Travis Patrick broke the 3-3 tie in the sixth with a RBI single. Hunter Ryan went 3-3 with a double and a run, Tyler Patrick was 3-3 with a RBI, Travis Patrick was 2-4 with a RBI, Logan Ryan went 3-4 with a run, and Mark Martin was 1-2 with a RBI. Chad Patrick threw a complete game on the mound to get the win. He struck out 10 in the game allowing three runs on eight hits.

 

Regional 10: Champion – Lafayette Central Catholic

LCC 9 Alexandria 7 – LCC trailed 7-6 going into their final at bat, but scored three in the top of the seventh to get the win. An error tied the game at seven and back to back bases loaded walks to Coy Cronk and Ben Tharp put LCC up two. Jackson Anthrop got the win throwing 6.2 innings allowing four earned runs and struck out six. With two runners on and two out Noah Richardson came on in relief and got a ground ball to end the game. At the plate Cronk went 3-3 with a homerun, two RBI, and two runs, Tharp doubled, drove in two, and scored once, Anthrop had a double, RBI, and a run, Tyler Powers doubled and scored twice, and Beruman had a hit and a RBI.

Frankton 11 Manchester 7

LCC 10 Frankton 0 – Noah Richardson was dominant on the mound in a six inning game to win the title. He threw all six innings allowing just two hits and struck out nine. LCC scored in each of their last four at bats. Bradyn Bordenet went 1-2 with a double, two RBI, and two runs, Jackson Anthrop went 1-3 with two RBI and a run, Ben Metzinger tripled, drove in two, and scored once, Ben Tharp and Adam Lovell each went 1-3 with two runs, and Luke Schrader was 1-3 with a RBI.

 

Regional 11: Champion – Knightstown

Regional 12: Champion - Providence

Providence 12 Austin 0 – Providence got on the board early with a two RBI double from Timmy Borden in the first. Providence then put the game away scoring five runs in the fourth and fifth inning. Borden finished the day 2-2 with a homerun, five RBI, and two runs, Joe Wilkinson went 2-4 with a double and three RBI, Parker Graf was 1-2 with a RBI and a run, Jake Lewis went 2-4 with a double and a RBI, and Bret Aria scored three times. Lewis went the distance throwing all five innings allowing just two hits, striking out four.

Linton 1 South Spencer 0 – Logan Hollingsworth threw a complete game shutout to send Linton to the title game. He allowed just three hits and struck out four in the win. Linton took the lead for good when Thaniel Heath scored on a two out error. Chad Trent had Linton’s lone hit in the game.

Providence 14 Linton 4 – Providence jumped on the board early behind two first inning homeruns from Timmy Borden and Reece Davis. After scoring five in the first they had four run innings in the third and the sixth en route to a six inning win. Joe Wilkinson got the win on the mound throwing 4.1 innings.

Regional 13: Champion – FW Blackhawk

South Central 5 Washington Township 1 – Noah Eaton got the win on the mound to send South Central to the title game. He allowed just two hits, no earned runs, and struck out nine in a complete game performance. South Central took the lead for good in the third behind a RBI single from Eaton and a RBI double from Max Sims. Eaton went 4-4 with a run, Sims was 2-4 with two RBI, and Skylar Thomas went 2-3 with a run scored.

FW Blackhawk 3 North White 1 – Nate Moonen and Kole Barkhaus combined to throw a no hitter. Moonen went four innings allowing one unearned run and struck out four to get the win. Barkhaus picked up the save striking out four in three innings. Bailey Sheldon broke a 1-1 tie with a RBI double, Moonen went 2-4, and Brad Berry was 1-1 with two runs scored.

FW Blackhawk 5 South Central 0 – Kyle Bleed threw four shutout innings to get the win allowing just two hits and struck out two. Barkhaus picked up his second save of the day to close out the regional title, throwing three innings allowing two hits, striking out five. Kyle Zurbuch led the offense going 2-3 with a double, triple, two RBI, and a run. Bailey Sheldon went 2-4 with a RBI, Jonah Norris was 1-1 with two runs, and Nate Moonen scored twice.

 

Regional 14: Champion - Daleville

Pioneer 2 Hagerstown 1

Daleville 11 Turkey Run 1 – Daleville broke open a tight game with a seven run fourth inning en route to a five inning win. Spencer Horsley got the win on the mound, after allowing a run in the first he threw four shutout innings to close out the game. Horlsey allowed just the one run, five hits, and struck out two. TJ Price went 3-3 with two runs, Ryan Hale was 2-3 with a triple, RBI, and a run, Brandon Vermillion was 2-3 with a double, RBI, and a run, Corbin Maddox doubled, drove in two runs, and scored once, Elliot Jackson had a double, two RBI, and two runs, and Gavin Whitmore was 1-3 with a RBI and a run.

Daleville 7 Pioneer 2 – Daleville’s offense jumped on the board quickly with a six run first inning. Six runs were more than enough for Brandon Vermillion to get the win on the mound. He threw a complete game allowing two runs, eight hits, and struck out two. Elliot Jackson went 3-4 with a double, solo homerun, and two runs, TJ Price homered and drove in three runs, Ryan Hale doubled and drove in two, Vermillion was 2-4 with a double and a run, and Gavin Whitmore went 1-3 with a RBI and a run.

 

Regional 15: Champion – Clay City

Jac-Cen-Del 5 Greenwood Christian 3 F/10 – Jac-Cen-Del scored twice in the tenth to get the win. Reuben Benham went 3-4 with three RBI and a run, Reis Troy doubled, and Ben Walston and Maverick Dwenger each had a hit and a run scored. Tyler Huff started the game throwing six innings allowing just one run on four hits, striking out seven. Allen Troy threw the final three innings picking up the win allowing one earned runs, three hits, and struck out three.

Clay City 4 Indy Lutheran 1 – Hunter Wolfe struck out 10 to put Clay City into the Regional final. Wolfe went the distance to get the win allowing just two hits and no earned runs. Wolfe at the plate went 2-2 with a double, homerun, and two RBI, Stevenson was 2-4 with a run scored, Pearson had a hit and a RBI, and Denker had a hit, RBI, and a run scored.

Clay City 10 Jac-Cen-Del 6 – Hunter Wolfe picked up his second win of the day throwing three shutout innings in relief. Wolfe struck out seven and allowed just one hit. Brennan Walker struck out three in the final inning of the game to get the save. Noah Denker went 3-4 with two RBI and three runs, Stevenson was 2-3 with two runs, and Crosby had a hit and a RBI.

 

Regional 16: Champion – Lanesville

Northeast Dubois 11 Barr-Reeve 10 F/8 – NE Dubois scored twice in the top of the eighth to get the win. Jaden Brosmer broke the tie with a RBI singled and Parker Zehr added the needed insurance run with a RBI single of his own. Cayden Knies went 2-5 with two doubles, five RBI, and a run, Zehr was 2-3 with a double, two RBI, and three runs, Drew Jacob was 3-4 with a RBI and three runs, and Case Eisenhut went 3-5 with a RBI and a run. Jacob threw the final 4.1 innings to get the win on the mound allowing three earned runs and struck out four.

Lanesville 2 Trinity Lutheran 1 – Brenden Bube struck out five in six innings to get the win allowing one hit and an unearned run. Ryan McCubbins brought in the first run of the game with a RBI single in the third, one inning later Tom Tidstrom brought in an insurance run to give Lanesville a 2-0 lead. Cameron Harvey went 1-3 with a run and Jon Will scored once.

Lanesville 5 Northeast Dubois 4 F/10 – After NE Dubois took the lead in the top of the 10th Lanesville answered with two in the bottom of the inning to get the win. After tying the game on an error, Mitchell Bailey’s second single of the game brought in the winning run for the title. Ryan McCubbins doubled, drove in two runs, and scored once, Greg Daly was 2-5 with a run, and Jon Will went 1-2 with two runs scored. Bailey threw the first six innings allowing two runs, two hits, and struck out four, Brenden Bube followed with three shutout innings allowing one hit and struck out four, and McCubbins threw the final inning picking up the win.
