Player of the Week nominations are submitted by High School coaches across South Carolina each week.  Along with the nominations, Prep Baseball Report is diving into box scores, talking to coaches and scouts, and attending as many games as possible.

PBR's staff sifts through the information sent in and seen by our scouts to determine the PBR Player of the Week every Tuesday.  You can see a full list of players off to a hot start in Diamond Notes, a collection of notes, stats, and highlights from the past week, published every Wednesday during the season.

Pitcher of the Week - April 3 - April 8, 2023

This uncommitted arm got the ball against a region foe.  Against TL Hanna HS, this pitcher threw a gem on the night, going 7 innings giving up 2 hits, 2 runs and struck out 12 batters. 

Player of the Week - April 3 - April 8, 2023

Joaquin Espinoza, 2B ,3B, Andrew Jackson High School, 2023

This uncommitted player shinned on the baseball field last week.  Espinoza was unbelievable this week as he had 10 at bats with 7 hits, 2 runs, 3 2B, 8 RBI, and only  1 K and hitting .700 for the week.
