SOCAL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. - With HS baseball heating up all across SoCal last week with all the spring break tourneys, we were privy to several standout performances. Because of the amount of standout performances around the region choosing one player for the weekly honor was quite difficult.  

Congratulations are in order for Junior Jack Haferkamp out of Santa Fe Christian HS as he has been awarded the SoCal Player of the Week for the week of April 3rd - April 8th, 2023. 

Haferkamp, a UCSB commit and #20 ranked player in CA had a massive offensive week during the SD Lions Tournament which helped carry his squad to a 3-1 record in the tourney. In the 4 games, he went 8-13 which included 3 HRs, 2 of those being go ahead shots, along with 11 RBIs and 10 runs scored. He also stole 2 bags and was intentionally walked twice. Jack is putting together quite the junior campaign currently slashing .513/.578/.897. He’s one of the more tooled up OFs in all of CA where his athleticism stands out immediately and the added strength he’s put on has led to some increased bat speed and power production at the plate.
