Sam Riggleman wins No. 900

Taking a brief moment away from the high school side of things, Sam Riggleman, head coach of the Spring Arbor Cougars, recently reached a milestone - 900 wins.  With the win Coach Riggleman puts himself into an elite class of coaches.  The winningest college coach of all time is Gordie Gillespie with 1,893 wins. Augie Garrido of the University of Texas has 1,817.

The game ended with a walk off hit from Mark Weist (Saline), a former MHSAA Player of the Year.  It was certainly a great way to get No. 900.  In addition to the walk off, the win came against conference rival Taylor University.

Congrats to our friend Coach Riggleman.  900 and counting.
